SmartTSD

Inventory, goods receiving and order picking on Android, with direct 1C integration and offline operation.

SmartTSD is a working tool for warehouse and shop-floor teams using 1C. It combines scanning, warehouse documents and local catalogues on an Android phone or industrial handheld. Employees record an operation where the goods are located, and results move into the accounting system without being typed in again.

Scanning and product marking

Use a phone camera or a handheld’s hardware scanner. Linear barcodes, DataMatrix and QR codes are supported. Product marking codes can be parsed and checked for repeated scans, helping operators avoid duplicates.

Scheduled and ad hoc inventory

Load a task from 1C with expected quantities or start counting without a pre-existing document. Colour-coded statuses highlight matches and discrepancies. Blind counting hides expected quantities from the operator.

Receiving, picking and write-offs

The application helps compare deliveries with supplier documents, assemble orders and record damaged goods where they are found. Results are used to populate warehouse documents in 1C.

A catalogue in your pocket

Info-scan shows prices, stock by warehouse, attributes and item codes. Products, barcodes, packaging, warehouses and bins are stored locally; information freshness depends on the most recent exchange with the accounting system.

Collaborative counting

Several employees can work on the same document. Actual quantities are added together during upload, and an exchange log records the participant, terminal and quantity of transferred data. Scanning bins ties a count to a storage location.

Terminal configuration

Connection settings can be transferred using a configuration QR code. An administrative PIN protects settings, while interface scaling, sound and vibration cues and an animation-free mode support different working conditions.

How it works

  1. Prepare the data

    Load catalogues and a task from 1C, or begin an ad hoc count. For bin-based storage, select or scan the storage location.

  2. Scan the goods

    Read codes with a camera or integrated scanner and record actual quantities. The application displays results and helps reveal discrepancies.

  3. Continue without a network

    Catalogues and operations remain on the device. Lack of a constant Wi-Fi connection does not require a return to paper counting sheets.

  4. Send results to 1C

    Run a network exchange or transfer JSON/CSV files. Results populate accounting documents according to the chosen workflow.

The project includes CFE extensions and EPF external processing tools for the Kazakhstan and Russian accounting configurations.
1C:Retail / UNF
Dedicated integration accounts for business units and inventory documents. Available operations depend on the configuration.
Other 1C configurations
REST API structure compatibility is described for Trade Management, Integrated Automation and ERP. Connecting a particular version requires verification and, where needed, adaptation.
Network and file exchange
Connect directly to 1C HTTP services or import and export JSON/CSV. File exchange can be used without publishing 1C on a web server.

Platforms & deployment

The mobile application is designed for Android 7.0 and later. It supports phones and industrial handhelds, including Zebra, Urovo, Honeywell, Newland, Chainway and Sunmi families. Integration components work with 1C:Enterprise 8.3. Network exchange uses a 1C publication through Apache or IIS; file mode does not require a persistent network connection.

Deployment starts with the name and version of the 1C configuration, the required warehouse operations, terminal models and sample codes. These determine the exchange method, extension or external processing tool, and device settings.

Product questions

Is a dedicated handheld required?

No. An Android phone camera can be used for scanning. An industrial handheld is useful when a hardware scanner and a device suited to intensive warehouse use are needed.

Does the standard 1C configuration need to be modified?

The project provides extensions and external processing tools. For supported configurations, these allow integration without directly editing standard code. Compatibility is checked against the version of your database.

Is offline stock information always current?

The device holds data from the last synchronisation. Operations can continue offline, but another exchange is needed to receive new prices and stock information and send results.
